I cannot even begin to think of all of the books I should be reading and should have read since I left college. Maybe if I start now, I will finish one in the next ten years. :0)

If you liked the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, you'd probably like the Dune series.
Of course I've never read any of them. I tried to read the Hobbit and was bored to TEARS. Could NOT get into it. So I didn't bother trying the others. Dh, on the other hand, thinks they're just about the best books ever written. And the Dune series is close behind. It's that whole fantasy genre again. So not my taste.
I hated the Hobbit and LOTR. So I have no desire to read the Dune series.
